The 04 Lounge is a windowless blue cinder-block dive bar at 3808 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704, near the south end of South Congress by Ben White. The name is the zip code. Italo Benedict "Benny" Pezzi has owned it since 2008. Hours are noon to 2 a.m. every day. Phone is (512) 444-7788. There is no reservation list. Walk in.

Inside: two pool tables, a jukebox, a full bar, and a side patio. Benny said the line above to Anthony Head for Austin Monthly, 6 Dec 2022. Regulars repeated it to the Austin American-Statesman in Feb 2024.
